Seahorse Retreat/Cozy & Chic/One Block to Ocean/Close to Mayo

The room was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean and well-decorated. The location was perfect. The beach wagon and chairs and umbrella were in great shape and were a big help to us. The YouTube TV was a bonus.

It was very nice and clean. Quiet little place. Close to the beach. It was a wonderful get away.

The room itself is a bit small, but it was clean and well-maintained. Our unit, unit C has a wall air conditioning unit that is very difficult to adjust, it is very noisy, and I had to get on the floor to read the controls. The other problem was if using the beach wagon with chairs and an umbrella, there are about 15 to 20 narrow stairs that everything must be carried down when leaving and then up when returning from the beach. That said, we still had a good time, and there are several good restaurants nearby.

Great place and very close to the beach. Clean and up to date. Host is kind and attentive.

The biggest problem from the start is this. Online the place is listed as a one bedroom. This unit is a studio. Had I known it was a studio I would not have booked it, simple as that. It was clean, the kitchen was fine, the bathroom was fine. The "outdoor space" is not enclosed, useless for pets. There is an outdoor shower but one of the units has a Florida room that overlooks it so I wasn't going to put on a show. This unit had a beach umbrella, it's broken. The A/C unit sits low in the wall and doesn't really reach the far end of the room too well. I'm pretty much over the whole AirB&B / VRBO thing. Think I'll go back to reputable hotels.
